Preston has become so independent while eating. It is a struggle to get him to eat more than a couple bites off of a spoon. The reason: He likes to feed himself! He doesn't have teeth yet, but he LOVES the Gerber puffs and freeze-dried yogurt bites! He has been refusing the spoon less now that I add more rice to his food to thicken it up. I am guessing that he likes texture??? He is still drinking water during meals out of a sippy cup. I introduced a sippy cup with a soft straw yesterday, as my dentist said that would be a good move. He doesn't get it yet, but he will soon I am sure!
